Safety first! You will provide primary care services to the site and coordinate and manage the site health program, including safety inspections, ergonomics training, and ergonomics assessments, to drive a reduction in work and nonwork-related injuries. You will as well undertake the management of testing programs required by local legislation
How you will contribute
You will:
- Provide primary care services to the site and co-ordinate and effectively manage the site health program, including managing work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses
- Coordinate preventative health and wellness programs to drive a reduction in work-related injuries
- Provide Initial emergency response, resuscitation, and stabilization of critically ill or injured (trauma) patients
- Support the development of health-related policies and Standard Operating Procedures for the site including the delivery of training where necessary
- Management, maintenance, and administration of medical equipment and consumables in line with legal and medical standards including audit of equipment and storing, dispensing, administering, and safe disposal of medicines
- Assess plant risk for health issues or any occupational-related illness, acting upon the assessment and controlling them through proper preventive measures
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
- Relevant qualifications in the area of Occupational Health or claims management. Qualified Doctor or Nursing practitioner
- Diploma or Degree qualifications in OHS/Claims & Injury Management, Workplace Ergonomics, Rehabilitation, or related discipline
- Relevant experience in OHS (Occupational Safety and Health)
- Strong experience in an Injury Management & Rehabilitation role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Worker's Compensation and Injury Management legislative requirements

What you need to know about this position:
As Sustainability has been a growing priority for MDLZ and across the industry with rising expectations internally and externally, more focus has been dedicated to Sustainability and particularly the decarbonization agenda across the E2E business. The position is responsible for the Sustainability agenda for MENAP, and will also manage and govern the Commercial HSE agenda as well.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Renewable Energy Solutions for Manufacturing Plants and Distribution through multiple ways such as captive, Power Purchase Agreements, bio-fuels, etc.
- Reduce carbon footprint through energy efficiency improvement projects, especially in Utilities, manufacturing processes, Warehouses, and distribution.
- Food waste and Water reduction program, building a roadmap, the pipeline of the projects, and putting governance for its implementation.
- To Build capability and competency through various initiatives in partnership with internal and external experts.
- Uplift the Commercial HSE agenda across MENAP BU with the right KPI management, HSE champions, assessments of commercial set-ups, and strong stakeholder management.
Education / Certifications:
BSC in Chemistry is also acceptable, Bachelor in Engineering
Job-specific requirements:
- Knowledge of Carbon emission (Scope-1, Scope-2, Scope-3) challenges across industries and experience in transformation, renewable energy sources across plants, and Carbon emission reduction across E2E especially in Manufacturing, Supply chain, and distribution.
- Driving Water and food waste reductions
- Knowledge of Cultural, behavioral, and capability-building transformational dimensions of sustainability.
- Have the proper leadership to lead the overall Sustainability agenda functionally and able to formulate a strategic roadmap to address the challenges and materialize Vision 2030.
- Knowledgeable of Different aspects of Commercial HSE, including Driver Safety, Ergonomics and well-being, and strong stakeholder management including influencing skills.
