Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Outreach Services

Introduction

The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health, and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• Plan and execute employee health activities and wellness programs for outreach staff
• prepare and submit periodic reports of employee health-related activities
• ensure completion of required vaccination of all staff and maintain records of it
• facilitate employees with job injuries and coordinate their medical treatment
• responsible to complete the medical process of corporate clients
• organize and maintain a database of corporate clients and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

You should have:

• a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school
• at least three years of nursing experience and a valid license from the Pakistan Nursing Council
• Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Safe Medication Administration, Aseptic Techniques, I/V Cannulation
• in-depth knowledge of health and safety measures
• excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
• ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently
• proficiency in the use of computer applications, particularly MS Office
• willingness to work shift duties.
